La Piana degli Ulivi
Our country house is located within a park of ancient olive trees, among the hills of Rossano Calabro, near Cosenza. We are in Calabria, a few minutes from the Ionian sea and its wonderful coasts that connect Basilicata with the strait of Messina. We offer amazing holidays in the pursuit of comfort, indeed you'll find a wonderful swimming pool of 6 metres per 12, provided with solarium and whirlpool. The pool is all day open and, for children up to 18 years old, is necessary the presence of the parents. The external areas are dedicated to the children and are equipped with table-tennis and table football. The property is completely fenced and, at your disposal, a private car park.
Restaurant and Breakfast
The dinners at our restaurant are prepared only for the guests of the farmhouse. You can even decide day by day. Our "natural cuisine" is based on season vegetables, homemade pasta, legumes and fresh eggs. The "simple menu" includes starter and firs course, wine, vegetables, fruit and coffee. The breakfast is served outdoor, in a shaded area, or in a spacious internal hall, from 8.30 to 10.30. The buffet breakfast offers local fresh products, homemade cakes, marmalades and season fruits. At the guests disposal a fridge in the breakfast hall.
Cooking class
Our cooking class considers a first part that gives information about the properties of food, nutritional values and benefits, up to the therapeutic importance depending on the kind of baking. The second part is dedicated to the preparation of the dishes with an expert nutritionist. The aim of the class isn't only to teach how to cook genuine recipes, but also to purpose new ideas of healthy cuisine.
Surroundings
We are at nearly two kilometres from the inner city of Rossano, a small town in the province of Cosenza. The farmhouse is located among the hills, a few minutes from the sea and the National Park of the Sila. Starting from the agritourism it is easy to reach Calopezzati, Campana, Cariati and Caloveto. Moreover, you can visit Longobucco, renowned for the silver mines, and Paludi, archaeological town. Nature lovers can organise wonderful walks among the WWF oasis of Castagneto di Cozzo di Pesco, the waterfalls of Colagnati valley and the valley of Torrente Coriglianeto.

Our agritourism has three independent apartments of nearly 70 mq and six bedrooms located within wonderful villas. The apartments has a spacious living room with sofa-bed and kitchen area, double bedroom, single bed and bathroom with shower. They are even provided with air conditioning, windows with insect screen and cleaning set. The rooms instead, double or twin, make available a comfortable terrace. Every villa is surrounded by green areas and is reachable by lighted paths.
